Method
Slice the Rustic Italian bread into 1/2-inch (1–1.5 cm) slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.
Toast or grill the bread slices until golden and crisp on the edges.
While the bread is still warm, rub each slice with a cut clove of Garlic to impart a subtle garlicky aroma.
Finely dice the Tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.
Add chopped Basil to the tomatoes and drizzle with Extra-virgin olive oil.
Season the tomato mixture with Fine sea salt and freshly cracked Black pepper; toss gently and let sit for a few minutes so the flavors meld.
Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto the rubbed, toasted bread, finish with an extra drizzle of olive oil if desired, and serve immediately.
