Beat cream cheese, add powdered sugar, pure vanilla extract, salt, and chill filling.

Cream unsalted butter & granulated sugar and light brown sugar, add eggs & pure vanilla extract, mix in dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt and ground cinnamon.

Flatten dough, add filling, seal and roll into balls.

Roll cookie balls in cinnamon sugar (mix granulated sugar with ground cinnamon).

Bake cookies and cool slightly.

Roll warm cookies in sugar again (optional).
