Method
Heat Water to about 175°F (80°C). If you only have a boiling kettle, bring it to a boil and let it sit for 2 minutes to cool slightly.
Warm your teapot or cup by rinsing it with a little hot water, then discard the rinse.
Measure about 1 teaspoon (2–3 g) of Jasmine Green Tea per 8 fl oz (240 ml) and place the leaves in an infuser, teapot, or directly into the cup.
Pour the heated water over the tea leaves and steep for 2–3 minutes for a light, balanced flavor; shorten the time for milder taste or lengthen slightly for more body.
Strain the leaves and pour the tea into cups. Taste and adjust the steeping time or leaf amount on subsequent brews, and enjoy plain or with a touch of sweetener if desired.
Optional: reuse the same leaves for 2–3 additional infusions, increasing steep time by about 30–60 seconds for each subsequent brew.
