Method
Bring a pot of Water to a rolling boil.
Remove the pot from heat and add the Black Tea; cover and steep for 5β8 minutes, or longer for a stronger brew.
While the tea is still hot, stir in Granulated Sugar to taste until fully dissolved (start with about 1/4β1/3 cup per quart and adjust as desired).
Let the sweetened tea cool to room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1β2 hours.
To serve, fill glasses with Ice and pour the chilled sweet tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon or mint if you like.
