Method
Place 2–3 tablespoons of Sweetened Condensed Milk into the bottom of a tall serving glass — adjust to taste for sweetness and creaminess.
Measure 1–2 tablespoons of Vietnamese Dark Roast Ground Coffee into a phin filter (or a small metal drip filter) and tamp lightly; if you don’t have a phin, use a small French press or brew a very strong cup.
Bring about 4–6 ounces of just-boiled Water and pour a small amount into the phin to bloom the grounds for 20–30 seconds, then fill the phin and cover to allow the coffee to slowly drip (about 4–6 minutes) into the glass.
While the coffee drips, fill a separate serving cup or the final glass with Ice Cubes so it’s ready to chill the drink immediately.
When the coffee has finished dripping, stir the concentrated coffee and condensed milk together until smooth and evenly combined.
Pour the sweetened coffee over the prepared ice, give it one final stir, taste, and adjust sweetness or strength as desired. Serve immediately and enjoy.
