Method
Heat about 4β6 ounces of Water until just off the boil (hot but not vigorously boiling).
In a heatproof mug, combine about 1 tablespoon of Honey and 1 tablespoon of Lemon Juice; pour the hot Water over them and stir until the honey dissolves.
Add 1Β½ ounces (or to taste) of Scotch Whisky to the mug and gently stir to blend.
Prepare a garnish by taking a slice of Lemon and studding it with 2β3 whole Cloves; float the studded lemon slice on top of the drink for aroma and visual appeal.
Taste and adjust: add more Honey for sweetness, more Lemon Juice for brightness, or a splash more Scotch Whisky for a stronger toddy.
Serve immediately while hot, inhaling the spiced citrus fragrance before sipping slowly to enjoy the warming, soothing flavors.
