If your Goiabada or Queijo Minas are very soft, chill them for 15–20 minutes to make slicing easier.
Slice the Queijo Minas into even slices about 1 cm (1/3 inch) thick so each piece will hold the guava without breaking.
Cut the Goiabada into slices or thin blocks roughly the same size and thickness as the cheese slices.
Assemble by placing a slice of guava paste on top of each cheese slice, or make small sandwiches with cheese–guava–cheese for a compact bite.
Optional: For a warm, slightly melty version, place the assembled cheese and guava briefly under a broiler or on a hot skillet for 30–60 seconds until the cheese softens—watch carefully so the guava doesn’t burn.
Arrange on a plate, garnish with fresh mint or a few cracker pieces if desired, and serve immediately as a dessert or snack.
